Now I like my Apple tower, don’t get me wrong. And I’m still pushing for a new Macbook Pro. But it sure seems like Google Android is taking over, no? Back in the day, Microsoft routed Apple by opening up Windows to any and every hardware manufacturer out there. Net result – Microsoft became “the man”. Now, with Google inhabiting Motorola’s, Samsung’s, HTC’s, and every other manufacturer’s (except Apple’s) devices, history might just be repeating itself.

Been waiting for this for a minute, and now it’s here… er, almost here. Well, it’ll be here in September 2011 actually, but you can pre-order now.

Jon Stewart interviews 9/11 First Responders
On the this year’s final episode of The Daily Show, Jon Stewart interviewed four 9/11 first responders, all of whom are suffering from various Ground Zero related heart and respiratory conditions. Moving. Needless to say, they’re disgusted with the bullshit Republican Senate filibuster that’s holding up the 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.
This video makes me both love my country and hate my country at the same time.
